A Hammam is a shower enclosure specially designed for steam. The steam generator provides an environment in the enclosure close to 100% humidity at a temperature of 40-50 deg C. The Hammam includes a steam generator located outside the enclosure, which delivers steam at low level, a light, a sloping ceiling, a seat and a door with steam-proof seals an automatic essential oils dispenser will futher increase the pleasurable experience.
A controller,
fitted outside the steam enclosure, provides automatic control of temperature and time.

The enclosure can
be built around the structure of the room to provide a fitted look so that the bathroom
becomes an important place for relaxation. The walls can be covered in marble, wood or
tiles. Only the steam proof door needs to be in glass.
Majestic Systems, based in Nice build custom shower enclosures for houses, hotels and yachts.
With the
increasing interest in health, the demand for Hammams has increased dramatically. Majestic
Nice could not find an existing steam generator that met their client's
requirements for quality, style and flexibility, so they designed and built their own. The
unit received EC certification in late 1999.
